about Erich Lukas

Erich LukasMy name is Erich Lukas and since 1970 I am a "SV" - member. More or less coincidentally, I became interested in the german shepherd- dog and the SV. This was due to the fact that my brother has given me the shepherd dog " Dito of the Odenwaldklause "  and then I also joined the local resident chapter, named OG Schifferstadt. Together with " Dito ", I gained several first and runner-up prizes on exhibitions, so by consequence I had a lot of fun at the “show side”. By 1971   my kennel name "Vom kleinen Land" was officially certified and authorized by the SV

It was in January 1972 when my first throw fell after my dog " Dito " and the dog " Assie of the Bergtierpark" did reunite. Furthermore I achieved numerous exhibition-prizes together with my male-dog " Racker from Heldenstein ", which has taken 10th. place on the main show 1975 in Essen. Through the years I led many premium dogs to exhibitions, e.g. "Betty from Hasenborn" (Young-Dog runner-up in Duisburg and winner in Italy  1987) and " Kimba of Haus Gero " (Young Winner in Bremen 1988).

Due to profession and family- reasons, my activities on the breed-side were quite few. The most successful throw was probably my " T-throw” resulting in the premium-dog " Tanja " and also my V-selection-dog " Tina " . You should know that I owned both parents-animals (" Falk of Isidora " and " Paola of the Bimsbrube").
Recently, my kennel is successfully looking back on 40 throws and numerous dogs have been defined for further breedings. In 2000 I received the bronze " Züchterabzeichen" ( breeders badge).

It will always be my aim and tendency to breed good and reliable custom-dogs with outstanding anatomy.
